Those three goals…

I never realised until I read the match report afterwards that we scored the 3 so quickly. At the time it felt like 3 in about 15-20 minutes.

I said to my brother in law on the coach back, according to the BBC match report we scored 3 in 5 minutes, and he said no there was at least 5 minutes between each goal.

There is a Villa chap that did quite good coverage of it.

Not bad but don’t understand their affiliation with Liverpool, ok so slippy played there but why would they want them to win it.
Thick twat thinks it’s ok to goad city fans for 80 mins then is surprised they celebrate in front of them. Laughable that they’re waving a trophy and singing about an event that happened before they was even born !

Aguero/93.20; Vinny/Leicester; Gundo/Rodri title winners; Yaya/Wembley winners; Dickov/Wembley equaliser; David Phillips/Charlton half-volley; Tueart's Wembley overhead; Neil Young/Newcastle 68 and Wembley 69; Mike Doyle/ Huddersfield at home in 66; Alex Harley/last minute winner at OT in 62..

So many incredible, joyful moments with my team, my club. Choosing between them would be like asking me who is my favourite of my grandchildren.. impossible!

All I hope and pray for is that there will be yet more of such sublime moments to enjoy with my team, my club and my family/fellow Blues before I shuffle off this mortal coil..!

Seems a decent lad, said he didn't like Liverpool but naturally wanted them to win if it meant Villa winning at ours.Reminded me of being young and going to watch City in meaningless games against more successful teams.

I must admit that those 5mins with those 3 goals is probably the best feeling I've had watching us since the Aguero goal.
In-cre-di-ble.
It was something like 2 mins 45 secs of actual playing time.

Wonderful stuff from our boys, sometimes it's a shame they play in sky blue as it certainly reduces the accolades, maybe not immediately but over time.

You mentioned the noise for the last goal (which was fucking deafening when it actually went in), but I love the fact that the entire 5 minutes is just so loud. Watching it back, there doesn't seem to be a moment's lull in the volume at all, and you can feel it drive the players on. Fucking superb.

Well I don't know, maybe it's just an acoustic illusion due to where I was (SS, second tier), but I thought the noise was insane for Rodri's. I felt that that was when everybody started to think, “Fuck, we're going to do this! Third goal's only a matter of time”. Or maybe it was just me thinking that and making a ton of noise. I think I gave so much when Rodri's went in, I didn't have quite so much in the tank for the third.

By the way, if anyone hasn't yet watched it — unlikely — the pitcam version is even better for capturing the atmosphere of those last ten minutes than the view from the gantry cam. For the third it's particularly good. Cancelo in particular is just doing his nut with the fans.

Walker’s dash to the corner flag also

I was in 234 that day, fantastic view. And like most (I suspect) only half heartedly celebrated the first goal. Those 7 or 8 minutes between Villa's second goal and Ilkay's opener were grim, so I didn't go mental when we pulled one back. But then, when Rodri equalised, the intensity in the ground seemed to go up several notches. And as for the third goal! It was bedlam around me, then seeing Kyle charging down the touchline towards that corner of the ground where I was! I thought he was supposed to be injured, but he was still bloody speedy, the fraudster. A great day, eventually. I've been blessed to be there for both 2012 and this year. It's still hard to rank anyone above the Aguero moment, though.
A. It was the first, after 44 years.
B. The way it was done, deep into injury time.
C. Who we pipped to the title. I still hate them more than anyone. Though the Mickeys are running them extremely close nowadays.

A cracking view of the bedlam in the East stand....

AAnd my view of the pitch invasion at the end....

BBloody hooligans!
