Those who DON'T Want Gerrard are Brainless!!

What would we get out of him, two years at most? He would want top wages we could get a younger promising midfielder. I would take him on a bosman but not for the money the dippers would be looking for.
He is Liverpool through and through so how would he play if on the opposing team?
Send him to Spain he will feel at home with all the scouse drug dealers over there
 
OK he is 29 and when his contract is up they wouldn't get the money back (not if that is an issue) but TBH i think he is the only world class player that England has. Remember one of his first games for Liverpool in a pre-season friendly at Maine Road and he played left back was absolutely immense, spraying 50-60 balls cross field perfectly.
 
I don't like his persona. I think he's too old, a bit past his peak, and I prefer young talent. I worry IF he came, he might be here for the money. But even I can admit he is one hundred percent what we need in midfield, one hundred percent the sort of guy we need in the team to push us on a level or two.
 
We'd probably get three or four years out of him , but at what cost ?

An enormous one no doubt!

In my opinion people that can't cope with the concept of two people having different opinions, with neither of them being the right or the wrong one, shouldn't really cmment on others intelligence levels.
