Three years of Bobby Manc

Good choice by the owners to replace Hughes with RM.

Hope he sees out his contract because it will mean he would have reached the targets set for him.

If its not to be I am sure the next choice will also be a good one.

what i like about him over a lot of other managers is his ability to attract players. some players wont sign for a lesser known manager for any amount of money. he is well respected and that is a big plus whilst persuing coverted players.

question should of been , how has the last 3 years been under the current owners.
many managers could and would of done better i,m sure, just remember the total capitulation by united that allowed city back in it last season, then only just winning by the skin of our teeth,
i,m sure this thread would look completely different had aguero not taken that last second chance !
i dont understand the hero worship when you look at the ,poor signings, dull football and sheer luck he,s had

Criticising him for things that didn't happen seems an entirely logical and rational thing to do

Next you'll be telling us you could've won the title with that team

P.S it's should have and would have

we would have had the success anyway, these players are too good. possibly even better under a different manager, hard to say. he's grown on me though, very unsure about his boring italian football at first and still does at times. the bit i really like about him is his class, he oozes it with the press, other managers and the like. i wish he'd warm to the players better, i think he'd get more out of them.

would i make a change? not in a million years.

Can't see how you can say we would of had succsess anyway?
How much time and money did Hughes have?

Kin' ell.

If Yaya hadn't scored in the Semi, or the final?

If Mario hadn't scored against the Rags or been brought down by Evans?

If Dickov didn't get to slide on knees?

If Anna Connell and co just thought f*ck it?

I think you know where I'm coming from.

You could argue that we blew the title before they did. Teams go through bad patches during a season. We had ours on the last corner, United had there's on the home straight. We were better over the season so won the league.

Poor signings like Aguero, Yaya, Silva etc
Dull football like three 1-6 games, 5 at Spurs, +64 goal difference last season
Sheer luck? Fantastic, rather have it than not.
