Not being funny mate but I don't have a scooby who you are, I'm sure you run a tight ship, you say you do, but not all do.

Just sick of people tarring all supporters clubs with the same brush.

I must've missed the bit where 40-odd thousand PSG fans have to pick their tickets and wristbands up from a hotel before every home game while going through security checks into the bargain. It looked to me like only City fans had to do that last week. Well, those City fans that travelled independently of course.

I didn't say that the PSG fans had to pick up wristbands, I said that the "policing" at their home games was overkill.

Yes they did but they collected their tickets and wrist bands at a mobile ticket kiosk in the away cordon at the ground.

What reason was given if any for body and baggage search at the ticket pickup

The ridiculous thing was that baggage wasn't searched. Coats, cash, phones, keys, belts etc were placed in trays and the owners went through a metal detector. At the airport these things go off frequently due to people forgetting various bits and random searches. I didn't see it go off once in the seven or eight minutes I was queuing. The bags and coats weren't even searched.
