I'm surprised , l thought blue members wouldn't stand a chance. I hope you're right.

I know a few s/t with high number of points not going for various reason's, main one being money, so would think will go to BM's, I have s/t with 3200 so will wait for my slot and hope it is correct. I suppose the only issue could be is that the these guys buy tickets for those who are not even BM's.

I'm just under 8000 points and on cup scheme . Didn't bother with the platinum stuff this year (£150 extra for 3 tickets). Just hoping I can get one for my daughter on 5th Feb. She's a seasoncard holder but first year. And she's never been to Wembley. How limited is the limited number of kids tickets ? ?

-- Tue Jan 28, 2014 11:10 am --

I'm just under 8000 points and on cup scheme . I think all seasoncard holders will be able to get a ticket. However, I think Blue members should feel optimistic, but not be surprised if they are unable to get a ticket.

My guess is that demand won't be quite as high as some are predicting here. I think any Blue member will get one, regardless of points, and they might even go to anyone with a purchase history. I doubt they'll go on full open sale as the police probably wouldn't allow it.

Hey, I've been going to games since late seventies and never been - tell her she has to wait!

Only kidding - think you'll be okay, but be on the phone early. You're day 3 and think they sold out about day 4 or 5 for FA Cup last year. If you can't get one then go for a dearer ticket if you can afford it as they are usually the ones left at the end, but obviously getting seats together will be tricky. Is she young enough to sit on your knee?

I am hopeful that the reputation of the competition/been there before/not a derby/Barcelona will see them go to blue, but I'm rather pessimistic and would be surprised if they do

Cheers Willy. She's 10. She could sit on my knee as long as we can get her through the same turnstile. I've been going since 1977 myself. No cup finals between 81 and 2011 and now we're always at Wembley. My lad's been 4 times in the last few years. Did you used to post on the MEN website ? I did for about 8 years. I seem to recognise the name.

Yeah, that's me. I always thought I was the bad omen having supported the blues since '77 but seems there's more than one of us!

Do you think these guys are dodgy?
