Just a question, someone on here will know. Every time we have played at Wembley, apart from Wigan, it has always looked as if the other team has had a bigger allocation (just based on how much each side seems to have either side of the half way line) - scum semi, sjoke final, chavs semi. It was certainly said at the time of the sjoke final that sjoke asked for some more "neutral" tickets late on, and got them, and we didn't - is this true and anyone know if our club did/do all possible to get us the maximum allocation?

The team allocated the East End of the stadium get a few hundred more tickets, it's to do with the larger space behind the West End goal where the stage is situated for concerts etc. You can see it on the seating plan. Blocks 131-136 are smaller than blocks 109-114. The segregation is done right across the halfway line, we have blocks 527 and 552, Sunderland have 526 and 501.

The part in the West Stand where the stage would be, has seat filling the gap for football, but rather then concrete as per the rest of the stand, it has temporary metal steps. I can confirm this, as i have sat in these seats.

Fair enough but that plan as shown is Wembley's official seating plan for sporting events and Sunderland definitely received a few hundred more tickets.

Hate the way our ticket system works, no point booking hotel until i know i can get a ticket so im going to get hammered for that if i do get a ticket. What are the chances of this going to blue member do you all reckon? Quite tempted to get it all booked if theres a fair chance...

You've lost me mate. Are you saying you hate the fact that people with more loyalty points/seasoncard get priority?

Agenda! !

Just to correct a few misconceptions here; both teams received 31,850 tickets for the final as an official allocation. Sometimes the West End does get slightly less but it literally is a few hundred tops and due to the segregation and slightly smaller size of the West stands behind the goal as highlighted.

The extra Stoke "neutral" tickets they received were all those in their end that county FA's and other sponsors who got tickets couldn't sell, as the majority of those looking for extra's were City fans desperately seeking tickets in our end.

Most of the "neutral" tickets in our end got redirected to City fans via connections, black market and other resourceful ways Blues get tickets - trust me. I managed to source some extra ones for the final via this route, but obviously had to pay out above face value for them. In short - neutral tickets in the Stoke end went back to Stoke as they were much harder to shift and not as sought after as the ones in the West End we were allocated, so the story that Stoke had more fans at that game was an absolute myth.

Not at all, those that have been going home and away for years deserve tickets to the big games. I just think there should be a way of accommodating fans who for whatever reason don't have enough points. I live miles away from city and spend an absolute fuck load going to the less desirable games to try and get points up. All the current system does is make the gap between fans (point wise) even larger.

Your hotel will be expensive our miles away, probably, or both by now. Best idea is to book a travelodge with free cancellation as soon as you get to the final.

Not sure if it will get to blue members - maybe the odd seat here or there. Also might be some additional seats released after we sell out - Club Wembley members and all that.
