A took a year out last season, cup scheme sign up + match points for new season - do they not go on until the competition ends now or something?

cup scheme points are awarded after we exit now, but season card points are awarded when you renew .

edit

you get the points for each individual match a few days after the game, but, the points for joining/ being in the cup schemes is given after we exit the competition.

100 points (200 Platinum)per scheme + 10pts (20 Platinum) for each home game you attend. Course when they arrive in your account is anyone's guess.:-)
Platinum is a fucking scandal. Of all the negative things that are reported on City by the media, half the time with them simply made up, this is something that should have been reported on City in a negative light.

Selling points to those who can afford a bit more is a disgrace and has gone on far too long now.

Agree 100% and I'm one them daft enough to pay it.

I'll keep paying it until that first champions league win a reckon, not be devastated if a missed out on points after that.

Thing that gets me is its £50 it's absolutely nothing to billionaires where's it's the cost of an extra game or even two for some that are really stretched at times.

Does anyone else think the club need to change the loyalty point system? It's impossible to catch the people at the top even with the double platinum points + all the cup schemes. I've been able to get to 10 away matches this season (7 PL, 2 UCL and 1 FA Cup) on the 18-25 allocation but once I turn 26 (in 2 seasons time) i will only qualify for a hand-full of games. Ive had my season ticket since 2007 and started paying for platinum + cup schemes since i started buying my own season ticket (instead of my dad buying it) when i started working after uni, but i only just have 7,000 points.
Is what it is mate. I've got 18750 points so I've missed a few aways because of the 18-25 allocation. But I think the no points for aways may have helped me get tickets for some of the low key games.
They should never have brought in Platinum but apart from that the system is as fair as it can be. Bide your time you'll find a way when you turn 26.

The way I look at it is platinum gets you the standard required points but for 50 quid less you can have half the points, ideal if you don't do aways.. I want superbia but have to do things like eat and pay bills. Not sure it even exists anymore.

The very reason I took the extra £50 hit was near the top for away tickets and to stay there was blackmailed into paying the fifty quid not happy about it but sort of fait accompli. Pretty sure Superbia was still with us last season by invitation only.

Last I heard there were about 150 left on it. They’ve not accepted new applications for a long time now.

It’s a couple of years since I’ve spoken to the lad I know with one about it and he said then that they were exploring ways of getting rid without upsetting those left on it.

What is superbia I remember it being introduced by invite only I presume it’s a SC for every game of the season home and away?

It was a "one time only" offer in 2011, sent with boxed invite and numbered in loyalty point order to the 1,000 top fans, however there was very little take up and they let it go to more fans I believe.

It covered friendlies too, China, USA etc. The problem was when it started I believe it was £2,500, and having a SSL season ticket it meant that it would cost be £1k more than I spent in 2010/11 so was mainly a snob value thing, one price whatever age or wherever you sat.

Members were allowed to ask for more away tickets for other ST holders, which was not an advertised benefit. It was last offered for new member for a 4th time (bearing in mind it was a one time only pressure sale), it did carry on for some years after that but not sure if it still exists or not:

When are we getting the points for the carabao cup scheme ?
I assume like last season,we get them after we exit a competition these days.
Last season I had to email supporter services to remind them that I hadn't had my Carabao Cup scheme points added to my loyalty points total. (About 7/10 days after the defeat by WHU).
I got the usual generic reply that they would get back to me,which they did about 2 days later.
And the points were added to my account about 2/3 days after that.

Points system is fucked anyway ….. I’ll never catch up now
I fucked it when I started a one-man boycott of any away game tickets that cost more than £50.

Enough people like me complained so often that we eventually got ticket prices for away games fixed at £30.

But by then I’d missed so many games by refusing to pay the out-of-order prices I’d fallen too far behind and once you fell behind there was no way of ever catching up again because you couldn’t get tickets for every game and there were enough getting them most weeks to keep you out of the number required, and others who’d been prepared to pay the rising out-of-order prices (making it worse for everyone in the country) to overtake me.

Now the club dish out chunks of our away allocations to all sorts of people, only about 9 away games are available to me a season now.

I wouldn't worry about the points system there were about twenty round us today couldn't speak a word of English and certainly hadn't attended enough games (if any) to attain 22.5k loyalty points, use to be the Mancunian section of Old Trafford not anymore.:-(
