When bored I sometimes take a peak at the ticket site, it never fails to amaze how games are shown as sold out then seats come back on sale. Take the Spurs game, sold out over a week ago now 23 blocks shown red but you can only access 2 plus the usual 15 pages on viagogo.
In my opinion the operation of ticket sales needs a good shake up, no grumble about the staff either on the phone or at the window. Next season the office will have there work cut out dealing with relocations and more seats to shift so I think City need some blue sky thinking. Hole in the wall machines say 12 or so around GT Manchester for citizen card holders, City are going to get more fans wishing to attend games in the future so its vital the TO is indeed "fit for purpose".

Your title is a bit misleading, when your actually issue here is with the ticket website. Its a bit strange when you have a red block but you can't access it, I agree, but I think the website is fine. I sort any tickets out I need well before the game, and any problems I phone them up or get onto the twitter help account.

Hole in the wall machines would be good though I agree, its the 21st century they can't be that hard to install.

I would like the facility to relocate to a vacant seat from my current seat without using the phone system for Cup Games etc, when I might want to bring guests and be with them. Seems a simple ask really and would save on my money and time whilst occupying an already busy member of staff.

Always confusing in regard to the availability of tickets.
Thus does anyone know more or less the following:

1) Of the 48,000 capacity how many season ticket holders there currently are
2) In answering 1) therefore how many matchday tickets are typically potentially available (minus of course those allocated to away support which varies from what 1,500 - 2,500)
3) How many tickets ara made available via Viagogo per game
4) How many are available via other tickets sites i.e. ticketbis.net, footballticketline.com, Lixfootballtickets.com, ticketmaster.co.uk

Surely the club should simplify the sale of match tickets

TBF we've been over this a millions times.

The club aren't listening.

For whatever reason they run the ticket office and sell tickets in a certain way.(that doesn't make sense to the normal person/fan)

The tickets will be returns. These could be relocating season ticket holders, comps etc.

I feel we have to keep banging on with this. Who is the person that decides how and when tickets are put on sale to the punters. You may wish to sit in a certain block, lets say 323 to be near friends who have a SC for there, only 303 and 304 are showing on the planner so you buy for 303 only to find 5 days before the game 323 + 10 other blocks come on sale. Would you be pissed off, sure I would be.
No complaints on my part regarding the front line staff its the persons running the show who need a shake up.

The ticket office is such a joke that I've given up ages ago.

I would gladly send them my CV and offer to sort it out with a low fee but they'd probably lose that email too.

City keep tickets away from City fans & feed them directly to agencies such as Viagogo especialy champions league games , this is a disgrace , this company needs dropping asap. Another thing they do is drip feed us tickets , its a joke and this policy needs ending.

Your description "drip feeding " of tickets is spot on, only thing to ask is why do they do it.
The word Viagogo is on a par with RIIAC in my book.
