That’s because the 1,000 tickets have already been sold once and there are Blues reselling at the last minute because they don’t like the weather forecast or have pressing commitments.. Fair enough. There mustn’t be enough demand for all the corporate suites. We have a diverse fan base who with the right ticket policy would fill the Etihad every game
Spurs game £63 for adults £50 pensioners & £40 for kids is a big ask & in my humble opinion fu*king scandalous
Just been informed there are about 1.000 tickets still to shift plus a fair bit of corporate hospitality going spare
No doubt we will be told the game was sold out
I agree that match day ticket prices should be cheaper and families should be encouraged more. I prefer the Cup games like Fulham where fans look happy to be at the game rather than some of the Prem matches where many Blues look like they are doing the Ckub a favour by turning up.
I’ve made this point before but one benefit of being in an OSC Branch is that members sometimes share their season cards with others at a reduced rate (sometimes for free) if work commitments / holidays etc get in the way of attending games.
FEIW, I’ve sorted several people out with last minute tickets for free and I was helped myself on here for the Fulham game.
Some other posters get too worked up by a few hundred or even thousand empty seats IMHO. Some season card holders won’t bother passing tickets on or didn’t know how to in the opening games of the season following Danny’s botched introduction of mobile ticketing. I think attendances have been healthier in recent times as people get used to passing ticket on online and people are less concerned about Covid.
