There's not that much the club can do if S/T holders don't turn up, and there were plenty of absent S/T holders today.

with the price of match by match tickets it is often worth getting a season ticket even if you know you are going to miss three or four games, especially if you fancy going to a few away games.

Of course. But can there not be a system in place where the club can give you chance to let them know you won't be able to attend and put those seats available to fans who want to or can be there that day?

Many people don't like viagogo so can City not do their own?

It's not something to get pissed off at people for!

The few thousand who don't turn up shit on the rest by leading the Club to believe that season tickets are under priced. We can expect another hike in prices this Summer.

Spot on, S/T holders who buy one to cherry pick the best games will definitely have that effect on the pricing.
