Ticket Sales Policy

never had a problem getting rid of games I cannot go to usually 2 a year because of hol's on here

even if it means dropping the price ( £36 SC divided by 19 )or giving tickets away free

the real problem is that this problem is not actually resolvable it can be managed

however do it formally ie via the club or viagogo and the costs rocket and it gets complex and as one poster said the incentive to buy a SC is a guaranteed income for the club and a guaranteed seat for the fan win win is diminished .....

as against the passing trade who should expect to pay more because of the rarity value

to be honest if every game sells out and are there are no shows thats pretty normal 5% -8% for whatever reason should be expected to be missing thats just a statistical observation and to those moaning about empty SC holders no shows get over yourselves it's entirely a matter for the SC Holder what they do its not depriving anyone of a seat expect the SC holder and thats their choice

the only real workable solution is to offer your seat on here for FV or less if you cannot go and if they go they sell great if they don't then cel a vie its a messy solution for some but simple and effective when it works

Otherwise why not ..... treat a m8 when you see tickets on here buy them one @ FV of course and get them hooked on City it will be your random act of kindness for the day and they will love you for ever and there will be no empty seats to moan about and I said it was unresolvable lol

I genuinely think the reason there are so many empty seats is the kids ST's are so cheap

They're also not easy to pass on to friends etc

easy to upgrade though for a match

that can turn out to be expensive though

i promised a colleague she could have my son's 18-21 Liverpool ticket for £40
i went to the ticket office to have it upgraded and they wanted £36 for me to upgrade, so essentially he got £4 back on his ticket and the club made an extra £36 on top of what they'd already had
if we left it empty he'd have been £4 worse off, so taking into account the hassle of sorting it out it just isn't worth it

Better still don't give the money to the season card holder, credit to them, for following year season card, also think tickets for away games ,and finals etc a percentage should go to a ballot system, for season card holders out side of points otherwise we are creating a closed shop, for all those with the highest points,ie

sorry I should have said give credit for next years s/c

I think you are right. I have real problems getting seats together in the family stand for me and my son unless I buy within about an hour of them going on sale to Blue members/City Kicks. However, there are lots of empty seats in that stand whenever we go. The number of empty seats v Southampton was almost embarrassing.

Kids' season tickets in that stand were so cheap that it was worth having one even if you could only go to about 6 or 7 games. I didn't buy one because he plays football on Saturdays (and I coach his team) and his KO times vary enough that we would have to miss about half the games. It seems that a lot of season tickets have been bought for kids who have similar constraints though. Some kind of internal ticket exchange is bang on what we need IMHO.

On another note, individual tickets for West Ham still don't seem to be available. Anyone know what's going on? I think someone said on this thread that they were going on sale on 9th April but there is no sign of them online.

I've heard they will now go on sale on 21st

When will whoever came up with this "Final 3 Bundle" idea realise that nobody wants it and nobody wants to pay the price they are asking? The longer they leave it, the more individual tickets they will sell for West Brom and Aston Villa, and the less they will have available for their Final 3 Bundle. Blue Members are being cheated, they paid for match ticket priority for the season, but anyone who can attend all three games and is prepared to pay the price for the bundle can jump the queue.

In a word, yes, Somebody at the club does seem a bit obsessed with this bundle idea, it's not even a good deal because you don't even get any discount on the individual tickets. Not that I'd agree with the bundle even if it was discounted.

Wheelchair season tickect holder, in all cup schemes. My season ticket is the first thing on my budget. Don't drink or smoke, and I try and book holidays around the home games. Try and make evey game, last season did all the home games and both Wembley games. This season had to miss some due to health problems. Would love to go to away games but as most grounds only have a couple of wheelchair places, thats not normally viable.

Its not that easy to sell on a wheelchair ticket and I dont really fancy giving someone I don't know my season cards.

What ever happend to good old pay on the day?. Or queuing up with tokens for a big match although I guess points have taken over that. When both new expansions are built, I can see us having gaping holes in the crowd for some of the smaller games. Why not have an unreserved seating section. You could then go on the day and pay on the day, and I guess those who turn up five mins before the game and its so;d out, thats tough.
