As already suggested, a good solution is:

* Can't attend the match? select your season ticket online at tickets.mcfc.co.uk
* put this ticket up for RE-sale, with City able to RE-sell this seat, and you getting a percentage and or commission.
* Your card is then disabled, with the buyers Bluecard then enabled for your seat.

This is needed. The club need to fuck ViaNoGo off.

As for early leavers: I don't see the problem. just a reflection of how we consume media now.
By the time they have driven home to wherever they'll then watch MOTD and see the ending of the match, or download the whole match online somewhere.

I don't need to leave early right now so I don't.

This...

We're light years behind in ticket exchange, for the countries richest club it's a fucking joke.

I've seen this from both sides now, ST's are good value and you can afford to miss some games at that price if you need to. Ad-hoc match tickets are not good value however and you have to pay for the right to buy them in the first place and then Viagogo is expensive and cumbersome anyway

There is a solution here but it may have more to do with filling the ground by letting supporters pass their ST seats on and less to do with making even more profit from individual seats the club already has the cash in the bank for

Make spare tickets available to known Blues with membership numbers/ buying history etc at the price the seat has actually cost (or a slight premium for admin) and then refund the usual seat 'owner' and most of the empty seats will disappear.

i.e price the seat on the ST price and not some notional ''match day'' price that is too expensive

Club does not suffer at all financially. Probably sells more pies and stuff and the ground looks full which make sit easier to sell more ST's and sponsorship type bollox in the future.

surely there should be something in place regarding if people can't go the game, a kind of charity to the less fortunate who get the free ticket, helps promote the club and game and gives the less fortunate a chance to see a live game they otherwise wouldn't.

This would be a good option to have Schalke. I realise not everyone could afford to do this. However, it would be easier to make a spare available to somebody who couldn't afford to go if organised by the Club so you kept hold of the season card. Sometimes you can't give spares away!!

I can't make it to some of the games every season and my pals are all season ticket holders anyway so i sell mine on viagogo when i can't make it. I put my ticket on at a price that enables me to receive the amount i paid for each game, so i get my money back. I don't make money on it and i don't lose on it. If anyone i know wants it they can have it before i put it on viagogo for face value. I don't see a problem with the system, i get my money back and someone gets to see the game who's willing to pay the standard price. It's a win, win situation as far as i'm concerned

Don't understand why it upsets so many people.

I was there and thats all that matters, I dont give a fuck if Dave Paul or Sharon cant be arsed to go.

If the swamp or Anfield ect had thousands of empty seats we would be taking the piss .Sponsers pay a fortune & they want a good image .a stadium with empty seats is not a good image .the sorry thing is people would go if the opotunity presented itself
