Wow. Our two tickets in SSL2 might both be available. I've already promised them to my mate and his boy at £35 each.
Probably the reason why I'll never be rich.
Well done that man. :-) (applause)

Perhaps that is the main role of this new appointment.Perhaps they could start by investigating themselves???
It doesn’t say but looking at the job spec I would say £50k a year at least. If it’s a senior role it could be £70k plus.
High pay for IT staff isn’t country specific though. This is where this country is fucked. 50k a year to be a professional grass. Spend it on 5 part time toilet cleaners instead.
..and the amount of 'first time attendees' will be in the thousands. The club are actively pricing out ordinary folk and selling what are general admission i.e. bog standard seats, as part of hospitality packages. Fancy a laugh? I am a matchday member who missed out on a derby ticket, the club won't sell any more season tickets, thus i pay over the odds for each game i attend which is most home games, such is life. However, if i am so inclined and had the money, i can this very minute purchase not one, not two, but TEN £799 hospitality packages on the official City site for the derby (The Ivy Asia Offsite). My bro is also a member so although i didnt try i assume i could buy him ten as well as i manage his account ! So if i have £16k handy i can this very minute purchase twenty derby tickets, all tickets for bog standard seats that should go to proper fans. Lovely!!!
It’s something similar to what Newcastle have implemented this seasonNot sure, given all the debate over tickets where this sits but it probably deserves its own thread. The club is currently recruiting for a Ticketing Compliance Manager - full details can be found here https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/3838432700
The interesting bit is this:
The successful applicant will actively investigate ticket re-sale misuse for home and away matches and fraud along with all aspects of ticket touting to ensure that the Club’s terms and conditions are adhered to and that crimes under the Serious and Organised Crime Act 2005 and the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.are minimised.
You will develop a comprehensive policy to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable model for the identification, investigation and prevention of ticket sale misuse and touting.
You'll use data analytics to identify trends and patterns of ticket purchases alongside pro-active investigation into ticket re-sale through all unauthorised channels including online, social and face to face.
If they started investigating in house that would be a good starting point!
Exactly, I could probably make a profit by on selling to reds for a grand apiece if I had the inclination which I don’t...and the amount of 'first time attendees' will be in the thousands.
