Wow. Our two tickets in SSL2 might both be available. I've already promised them to my mate and his boy at £35 each.View attachment 108229
Sundays game.
I’d sooner you were honest and just did the right thing.Wow. Our two tickets in SSL2 might both be available. I've already promised them to my mate and his boy at £35 each.
Probably the reason why I'll never be rich.
On that seast plan it has the block and row, should be fairly easy to check a row and see where the ticket came from,I'd have thought. He or she aren't going to rock the boat are they. They certainly won't be looking into how and why City, their employer, distribute away tickets like they do.
City doing it aside. How are City going to find out who the original seller of the ticket is to the 3rd party ticket website without buying the ticket at the price being advertised, which they won't do.
I saw a lad this season in his 20's(?), well dressed, but casual, sat in the Craft Bar in the Double Tree Hotel on London Road in the city centre, taking calls on his mobile, selling tickets for a match, with a steady stream of people buying the tickets. He had quite a few tickets, as he either held them in his hand or put them on the table waiting for the buyers to turn up. He wasn't bothered about people seeing the tickets. Looking at him you wouldn't haven't thought he was a ticket tout. It's impossible to say where he sourced that many tickets from, but it must have been from the club or from somebody connected to the club to get that amount of tickets.
Cheers mateI've applied for the job hoping to get it will let you all know, then you can pm me if you need tickets small admin charge of course.

Selling returned tickets at less than the match day tickets would cause no end of issues with those who have already bought The money refunded to the SC holder is a pro rata rate as to offer a profit would be illegalJust another kick in the teeth to force fans to only use their ticket exchange so they can exploit the 'new fans' by giving us £30 for our bought back ticket and sell it to them for £70.
Yet they will make out we are the crooks in all this.
I would imagine this type of thing will come under their remit and may have to stop. I presume they want tickets to be going to people who are registered with them (and of course who will pay top dollar for the tickets!)Direct this link to the new Ticketing Compliance Manager.
There are always genuine City fans looking for home and away tickets at 'face value', as well as 'ticket touts and scammers'.(cunts!)
Thankfully Ric runs a ticket face value price only policy.

Perhaps that is the main role of this new appointment.Perhaps they could start by investigating themselves???
It doesn’t say but looking at the job spec I would say £50k a year at least. If it’s a senior role it could be £70k plus.
High pay for IT staff isn’t country specific though. This is where this country is fucked. 50k a year to be a professional grass. Spend it on 5 part time toilet cleaners instead.
..and the amount of 'first time attendees' will be in the thousands. The club are actively pricing out ordinary folk and selling what are general admission i.e. bog standard seats, as part of hospitality packages. Fancy a laugh? I am a matchday member who missed out on a derby ticket, the club won't sell any more season tickets, thus i pay over the odds for each game i attend which is most home games, such is life. However, if i am so inclined and had the money, i can this very minute purchase not one, not two, but TEN £799 hospitality packages on the official City site for the derby (The Ivy Asia Offsite). My bro is also a member so although i didnt try i assume i could buy him ten as well as i manage his account ! So if i have £16k handy i can this very minute purchase twenty derby tickets, all tickets for bog standard seats that should go to proper fans. Lovely!!!
It’s something similar to what Newcastle have implemented this seasonNot sure, given all the debate over tickets where this sits but it probably deserves its own thread. The club is currently recruiting for a Ticketing Compliance Manager - full details can be found here https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/3838432700
The interesting bit is this:
The successful applicant will actively investigate ticket re-sale misuse for home and away matches and fraud along with all aspects of ticket touting to ensure that the Club’s terms and conditions are adhered to and that crimes under the Serious and Organised Crime Act 2005 and the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.are minimised.
You will develop a comprehensive policy to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable model for the identification, investigation and prevention of ticket sale misuse and touting.
You'll use data analytics to identify trends and patterns of ticket purchases alongside pro-active investigation into ticket re-sale through all unauthorised channels including online, social and face to face.
If they started investigating in house that would be a good starting point!
Exactly, I could probably make a profit by on selling to reds for a grand apiece if I had the inclination which I don’t...and the amount of 'first time attendees' will be in the thousands.
