Think you will find that clubs complain about this every year so nothing to get embarrassed about if you ask me. Unless you think City fans shouldn't react in the same way as fans of clubs that get to Wembley each year.

You missed out by 40 popints but as I showed on another thread. You chose to watch the cup games at home in comfort (your words not mine) this season and even told us about it in various "attendance" threads, along with saying you were happy to pay through the nose should we get to the final.

And?

I chose to watch 'some' of the cup games from my home in respects of my wife giving birth to a new baby, the subsequent commitments that entails.

Which is why I also had to give the semi a swerve (you asked for my points on PM didn't you?)

You appear more pleased, than curious?

In terms of paying through the nose, that is not the issue.

The issue is that any City fans' loyalty over a prolonged period of time should not come down to the odd cup game here and there.

Or superceded by someone on a cup-scheme who probably weren't even aware it was going to afford them a queue jump.

I would wager a large proportion of the cup schemers either can't get to league games or had points well below the criteria.

I never picked up any points in my teens for six years without missing a solitary away game nor the requirement for a season-ticket when the average attendance was below 20,000 less than 20 years ago.

I would wager otherwise - that a large proportion of fans on the cup scheme are regular attendees and have more loyalty points than the 3250 it sold out on this morning.

Not more pleased than curious, I wish there was enough tickets to go round for all City fans that want to attend and wouldn't wish overpaying or not being able to attend on anyone. I just thought your post informinng of "I'll be watching in comfort at home and come the final, I shall pay through the nose if I have to" was a bit strange at the time fella.

Especially as you ended up so close. And yes I pm'd seeing if your card was going unused for the semi, make no bones about that, my other half was desperate to come when my pop pulled rank for the semi tickets.

As for being in the wrong side of the stadium, didn't hear there was any trouble for City in Utds end or vice versa in Club Wembley at the semi and had a few mates in there.

Have you got the URL / link for this?

I've checked the Club Wembley website and can't see anything regarding buying tickets.

I'm 'kin gutted...got 4020 points, however my lad only has 3200...I was hoping to take him to the final, thus I held out waiting for the points to drop!!! :-(

Hey Ho...at least we got to see City make history against united at Wembley.

I might be tempted with Club Wembley tickets depending upon price...just need the actual link???

Cheers

The tickets were from a person who just can't allow that to happen, more's the pity.

If the person in question was legitamately able to purchase the club wembley tickets (i.e. a Club Wembley member), then get them to get in touch with there Club Wembley contact. They are doing all they can to organise swaps within the Club Wembley scheme to have the right fans together at the right ends where ever possible irrespective of where you own your seats.

Already attempted, already failed.

I don't have the tickets anymore. The best they can do is try to get others for opposite end of stadium.

-- Wed May 04, 2011 12:32 pm --

Okay mate, no probs.

Many people have outside circumstances.

My brother used my cards for the semi and got the extra 20 points for me.

They clearly weren't worth it to me.

Been offered 4 club Wembley at £400 a piece from Rags told them to shove them

Cheers mate, I've seen quite a few on the various ticket tout sites...was interested in the official Club Wembley link though for ticket sales...clicked on bl@@dy everything...still can't find it!

selling one ticket which i bought online, its not club wembley though, the tickets are in the city end, as i got them online its obviously going to be quite a bit of money but im selling it for just a little less than the price i bought it, i know the rules on here and wouldnt want to mess about fellow blues, so anyone interested give me a pm and ill give you the price, i have the reciept here to clarify how much i paid for it, reason im selling is because ive got hold of another ticket with a group of mates so thought i would try and sell it to proper blues on here first. give me a pm if your interested cheers.
