Ah yes the blame FFP and not the club line. It's a very poor excuse.

How so?

We have the best value season card in the country. The most loyal fans are offered the "superbia" card which gives them complete freedom and they regularly listen to fan groups.

They may get things wrong from time to time but they look after us much more than any other top 10 club, arguably PL club. They are desperate to keep tradition.

Unfortunately we need a profit because of FFPR so prices can't dip too much and occasionally we will get ripped off.

But to say they don't care about long standing fans is, as I said, nonsense.

I disagree with the blokes point but are you for real? 'most loyal fans are offered the "superbia" card which gives them complete freedom and they regularly listen to fan groups' It's £2,500 a season and freedom is non existent, they get every game. Superbia is a rip off, you're a fool for mentioning it.

It's foolish to call people a fool when they are offering an opinion. The club have tapped into a group of fans who live and breath MCFC. They are the ones who will be laughing in the Camp Nou 'cos they knew before the draw was made that they would have their ticket. Nothing foolish about that! And they will be secure for any final! Sounds rather sensible to me!

I'd hope they would "reward" those in the cup scheme with something like £45 tickets, but I'm not holding my breath.

I would expect the 'reward' for Cup Scheme members is to guarantee a ticket for the match. Can't see any discount for cup scheme, although happy to be proved wrong.

I think they should charge £100 a ticket for this and no concessions - get rid of the kids and the riff raff

blame Platini

Our wonderful owner's have made our dreams come true. A champions league match against Barcelona, something we could only dream of years ago. This is as good at gets, a category a game by anyone standards. As for our owners rewarding are fans? Well I think they have! They have bought us wonderful players, we have a squad capable of challenging on fronts. They are building us training facilities that are word class, extending our ground capacity, putting all these things in place for our long term future and I belive this is all key to make us self sustainable. Im sure the club are trying to get the balance right on ticket price's. The club cant (or are not allowed) to spend the money in the tranfer market that we cant account for=ffp. When a big game like this comes around then the club are entitled ( imo) to charge category a prices, if we want to continue seeing the best players then we the fans are going to have to pay towards it as well as expecting our owners to coff up all the time.
Great post

Some seem to want to 'take take take' and blame the owners when they can't have their cake and eat it

Tickets are now on sale FOR THE AWAY GAME on the Barcelona web-site. It looks like we've been allocated 16 blocks, from the centre (opposite the main stand) all the way round to the scoreboard in the Gol Sur.

There are odd tickets available near the City blocks for 106 euros. The cheapest seem to be at the other end of the ground: a few for 93/96 euros. But there are some seriously silly prices!

They won't accept English fans buying on there!

EDITED: Only one ticket left now, priced 199 euros!

Indeed
Whilst I think Superbia is not 'good value', those on it will be quids in if we make it to a couple of finals this year and will be sat in comfort knowing they will be sat in comfort!

From the Barcelona website:

According to UEFA regulations, it is not permitted to sell tickets to supporters of the same nationality as the visiting team. Said supporters are asked to purchase their tickets via the visiting team.
IMPORTANT:
●Currently very low limited tickets availability.
●As we approach the game, will appear new tickets on sale.
●We suggest periodic searches.

Absolutely spot on. Cheap it isn't, but there are ways of affording it...,try a drink and chippy tea free night...?!!!

I apologise for asking this question again, but I've never had an answer...
What is the breakdown of loyalty points? How many seasoncard holders are on 8000+? 7000+? etc
Someone must have the figures.
