Tickets for Monday

I queued for about 20 mins after the game to be told 'only two per person' when we got to the window because of the demand. Good job I passed another window where no-one was waiting and got my other two.

'fans' Like you are a disgrace!

Hahahahah! I did it 3 times!!!!

Ooh you naughty boy! Sorry I didn't go to the window next to that as well lol.

Found myself standing behind Ms FuzZy in the queue. Small world hey!

disgrace, typical unorganised city as always, queues were massive, if i waited i would have had to miss part of the game. I dont see why all season ticket holders cant just get in anyway, have them passes for none season ticket holders

I don't think I'd worry, they mentioned more would be available at 9 tomorrow and then throughout the week at both the ticket office and Arndale shop.

Was mention of old players being around plus a fireworks display but the open top bus is meant to take 2 and half hours, so those in the ground are gonna be mighty bored waiting around that long.

A complete and utter farce!!!!!

Whoever is responsible for organising that tonight must have no concept of how people would react whatsoever.

Why not just hand everyone a ticket upon entering the ground. There's usually two or three stewards stood there doing fuck all and having a natter with people they know as they go in at each turnstile anyway.

Then open it up to everyone else tomorrow.

The reason they didn't do that is the same reason that they didn't get the cup out tonight. They are desperate to get as many people inside the ground as possible on Monday evening, spending money.

Nothing to do with respect for Stoke (who couldn't give a flying fuck about it) or wanting to allow everyone a chance to attend. Everything to do with a desperation to get 40,000, or however many they want, spending on Monday.

The stupid thing is that if they had any idea about the fans at all then they would know that they will probably easily get that amount anyway. Without the "quick, quick, take four tickets and give them to anyone you know" bullshit. More to the point, they would be going to people who deserve them too.

Every dickhead and his dog around Manchester will be getting hold of the thousands given out tonight.

Joke organisation of queueing too. Which idiot thought that a couple of windows would be enough to serve 47,000 fans?

Great match, great night, great atmosphere. This was a joke though and primarily motivated by Garry Cook's obsession with getting people spending (imo obviously).

Queued for ages up joe mercer way, then tickets ran out so i went to the window and the woman said they are printing more off but we don't know how long they will be. Waited til some more arrived bit of argy bargy in the queue, then i asked for 4 got told i could only have two, my mate got two and her lad who also has a season card got two. would have been great if i could have got a couple more but at least we'll all (the ones who have been to fucking everything) be able to go.
