tickets for wembley

I'm a ST holder with around 2700 points and managed to get tickets for the semi-final with the rags when I had around 1,750. I'm not on the cup scheme now and wasn't on last time, but loads more are on it now. Just wondering what are the chances of getting tickets for the semi-final this year?

I'm going to hazard a guess that if its united you will be borderline. If its anyone else you will be fine.

To safe guard your chances and if the club do a sales criteria same as last time. Get 3 other (minimum) season ticket holders who sit near you and go as a group. Only 2 out of the 4 had to meet that days sales criteria IIRC

I might be wrong about this bit I seem to remember being told that take up for the original Cup Direct scheme was 8000. Now I bet it's closer to 25,000. I was on it the last time around and for the semi anyone on the cup scheme was given top level priority, regardless of points. This time, as long as you're on the scheme, you'll get one

No idea how many are on the Scheme, although I'd be surprised if it was as high as 25k.

I think the numbers will go up again next season based on the crowds this season - it's increasingly important to guarantee a ticket, and if it guarantees a ticket for Wembley even better.

36,000 Seasoncard holders with 25,000 on the FA Cup Scheme? Lots of new faces were around me for the Champions League matches (more attactive fixtures vs midweek kick off) so I'd be surprised if it's that high. One of every two Seasoncard holders I know aren't registered on the schemes.

You'd be seriously miffed if you were on the cup scheme and couldnt get a ticket for the final

There are no more than 16,000 on the FA cup scheme, fact. There may be more on the European one though.

Will they let us buy online this time?[/quote

I hope not, I like the experience of getting there at 4am on a brisk spring morning and making lifelong friendships with fellow Blues !
