hahahaha choose seats is back now

how frustrating
Very. I had to phone up earlier today and was told no seats next to each other which is a priority for me as I have a 7 year old
just checked now and there are 2 pairs of seats in 213 on the seat selector if you are still looking for tickets

Great news - hopefully the club will review their obscene price hikes. Liverpool only sold out with a couple of days to spare too, which was abnormal.

I kinda like, your take on this LC.

still hope that someone high up, somewhere, decides to rip out seats and put a terrace area in, rather than concentrating on the installation of yet more plastic seats.

plastic seats for plastic people.
Give Manchester City football club back its true voice.
rip out the seats ,bring back standing, lower the prices, get the army of priced out blues who sit in pubs around the ground watching on sky utd,. BACK into our ground, watching their team.
please.

I said two years ago that what was happening at city happened at united 15 years and took pelters for it.

I hope the club are reading this forum, tickets too expensive and driving the real fans away and who the Fuc@ thought those lights are a good idea. All the signs are there we are heading in the wrong direction in terms of how we are treating the fans. The football is out of this world but keep the fans with the club for fuck sake.

Blame Platini and FFP. I doubt that The Sheikh will give a flying fuck whether tickets are £50, £250 or £1. In the grand scheme of things, the additional revenue will have little impact on his financial position. However, for FFP purposes, the additional income from tickets, advertising and merchandising will be critical to ‘fulfil the criteria’.

If, as many people on here say, the added income from increased match day ticket prices is minimal in the overall scheme of things ie 2 or 3 million, will it be critical to fulfil our FFP criteria?

What would the media reaction be if City failed FFP by a couple of million quid having reduced their ticket prices by £20 a go. As much as we shout about media bias, I'm sure the reaction would be one of over whelming support for the club which would apply added pressure to UEFA. I really hope that the club look seriously at the issue of ticket pricing and don't just pay lip service to the concerns of the fans. Personally I would love the club to support the campaign to re-introduce 'safe standing' on the lower tiers. All of the South Stand including the away section appear to stand anyway, so if the concerns are regarding safety, it must be safer for people to stand in an area specifically designed for the purpose.

Lots of fans are affected by the price changes and by the 'improvements' being made to the ground. Those of us in Level 2 of the East Stand will have to relocate next season as £800 isn't enough to pay for the proposed new corporate hospitality which nobody on our level appears to want or need. Quite how much 'hospitality' the club thinks it requires is beyond me and if level 2 of the East and Colin Bell are packed to the rafters with punters enjoying some premium pre match snacks and drinks having paid £1500 a season for the privilege then I'll stand corrected. It will be interesting to see the clubs attitude to those who have to relocate, I'm not expecting anything other than a 'that's what's available, take it or leave it' approach which, I fear, will lead to plenty of people 'leaving it'

great post AL.

I believe Stoke returned Block 115 in the lower tier of the South Stand, and these may still be available to buy from the Ticket Office in person, but please ring before going down - it's only a hunch. 0161 444 1894 (Option 1, option 3)

There will be thousands of seasoncard holders relocating from the existing stands to the cheaper seating in South Stand 3. So much so that few if any on the waiting list will be able to buy the cheaper seats.

Hopefully by then there will be cheaper seating available pitch-side and the North Stand work will be underway - otherwise there could be a lot of disappointed fans on the waiting list (after all they have paid £100 deposits)

That's the thing Marvin. I haven't actually met anyone on Level 2 who wants to relocate to Level 3 of the South Stand which will be another factor in their decision of whether to retain their season card.

I'm in L2 of the South Stand, and I'm very interested in relocating to either pitch-side or Level 3. Seasoncard prices have gone up to the point where I'd move to make a saving.

I was lead to believe there will only be about half of the new seats that will be £299 ?

so that only takes a tenth ( 36000 ) of existing seasoncard holders to relocate into the cheaper ss level 3 stand

Im gonna be one of them along with my son, depends how much they will charge for him

Only problem is,how long are they going to keep those seasoncards at £299 ?
