Tijjani Reijnders - Welcome to City

Bit harsh on Kova, isn't it? He's 31. Gundo, on the other hand, is 34. I thought Mateo was playing quite well again towards the end of the season. Gundo's race, in my view, is run. If he does actually stay in a playing capacity, I'd expect him to be playing the odd match here and there, or bits of matches, and increasingly stepping into a backroom coaching staff role (which would please me very much).

“Quite well” is not good enough for us mate.

At 31 he’s only going to get slower and more one footed than he already is.

Coat time.

We won't need to register anyone (other than for the CWC) until the end of August, and all 3 will definitely be registered then, others won't be here by then, I'm sure the club will get it right.
That's what I meant, thought the post I was replying to was suggesting them all staying for another year.

Welcome Tijjani:
The peerfect replacement for Gundogan - should he leave.
Gives us a good batch of players to play in Central Mid.
- Rodri
- Reijnders
- Nico &
- Kovacic
We need to rotate more here to keep the team fit and fresh and deal with injuries.
We were hit hard here this season with Longvterm injury to Rodri and Kovacic wasn't exactly an ever present was he?

All for less than the rags spent on Oyelaund and Buster Keaton.

So save the cash for next summer. No need for another midfielder.

This type of thinking got us into our situation in the first place.

One new central midfielder is absolutely not enough and we’ve done the right thing getting another high quality signing in.

We can now focus on letting 1-2 players go by the end of summer.

Will need to be far more than 1-2
