Larsson is more like a Bentancur or something. Reijnders is far silkier and attack minded.

Reinjnders feels quite well rounded another midfielder I like. Just hard gauge ability in the Serie A. Game time in France and Bundesliga tend to translate better to the PL.

Like mentioned before he is 20. Also he has played a lotmof the time further down. So his passes tends to open up the game from deep. Then the next pass will be the assist or the simple pass for the chance.

Wirtz is a number 10, while Reijnders plays as an 8—not as a 10. They serve completely different roles on the pitch, so this shouldn’t be viewed as an either-or scenario. Ideally, we’d have both. Unfortunately, Reijnders has now extended his contract until 2030, which means prying him away will be both difficult and expensive. I was really hoping the club would’ve gotten in his ear back in December, convinced him to hold off on the extension, and brought him in either in January or this upcoming June. But once again, we dropped the ball.

Pep obviously has his reasons, sees the players every day and has forgotten more than I'll ever know about managing a team but i love him to give Jack a go in the 8 position. All his best attributes say he should be there, not out wide.
