I do like him but im not convinced this is the right move. I know many on here are convinced we are going to be shipping out half the squad this summer but i just dont see that happening.

i think both gundo and bernardo have 1 more year here and see out there contracts, kovacic has been our 2nd best player so don't expect him to go, rodri is hopefully back and as good as ever and we've got Nico who is going to be expected to make an impact next season and we're told he can play both 6 and 8. Then you've got the likes of Rico and o'reilly who are and want to be midfielders. Thats a lot of options already, with rodri back, nico settling and O'Reille's emergence that's 3 more options than we've had for most of this season before any additions.

I can get behind the idea of bringing somebody in now and giving them the customary 12 months to settle and then they're stepping into the shoes of the departing bernardo/gundo next summer but he's going to be 27 before next season starts, 28 by the time bernardo and gundo are gone if they see out their contracts. Think we need to be looking in a younger age bracket for this role.

I just think you're far far far discounting what an impactful player he can be. I think Reijnders walks into our current lineup, and we shouldn't be committed to minutes for Gundo, kova, or really Bernardo anymore.

I think he is, in current form, a better player and a better fit for our current roster than any of the 3

I'd agree normally but AC Milan are skint and Reijnders seems desperate to come I think we can put some pressure on and lowball them, they can have captain dirty dick in part ex
I'm all in for lowballing to see if they'll bite, but only if we back up our intentions by following up with a bid that'll get it done. It gets real annoying when we're haggling over 5-10M which is relatively inconsequential in the big picture.

Can't say I've seen much of him but I like what I've heard and he seems like he has the energy and skill that we desperately lack

Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Gravenberch

For the first time under Pep, our midfield doesn't hold a candle to the Dippers and truthfully we are far off them

Put Rodri in our midfield and we at least match them with any other two midfielders

cant really argue with the backup 3 man midfield possibly being Nico G, MGW, Foden if the targets all come in. Will be absurd work if they pull this off.
