Coming back from such a long lay off and an acl I think it’s a bit naive to think Rodri will be at his previous level for at least 6-9 months.

It’s likely he will struggle at first and chance of re injury is very high. Albeit it shouldn’t be long term but niggly injuries are not uncommon

Rodri plus me and your gran on bongos makes a decent midfield because Rodri.

Rodri Nico and any of Kovacic, Gundogan, Bernardo, MGW, Reijnders or Foden isn’t far off Liverpool’s midfield.

It would be comfortably better with Rodri, Reijnders and Foden (with a return to form).

If we were to sign a top class attacking midfielder to also play that 10 position then we’d be laughing.
