I prefer Reijnders to MGW on the basis that MGW disappeared in the last month of the season.

I don't think MGW disappeared at all. He was one of the few Forest players trying to drive them to the CL. He got a goal and assist against Leicester and scored against West Ham. Wood scored twice in his final 12 games or something. There was a collective drop off as the pressure mounted in the run in and I think MGW was one of the few that looked like he could handle it.

The concern around him, for me, is how he does in a team that looks to dominate possession and plays against a low block. He's used to playing in a counter attacking side rather than unpicking defences the way he would have to for us. But when you think back to De Bruyne, it wasn't that different to be honest. De Bruyne was never typically a Pep player - high risk, high reward passing rather than pass and move football. He adapted and continued to deliver. There are few, if any, players out there to replace KDB directly but 7 goals and 11 assists following up 5 and 12 in the previous two campaigns is a pretty solid outlay when you consider who he has been playing for.

The YouTube clips I can't watch them always make me laugh all the good bits where's the part where he misplaces loads of passes. Skyes a shot from 5 yards out over the bar. All the real stuff.
I think he is a good player by the way. Will Milan do business with us for there key player

You should be watching the compilations where they show every touch in a match warts and all, get a much better impression of the player than the highlight reel.

You are right to remind me of the Forest v Leicester game, nevertheless I don't remember MGW doing that much in April and May when Forest blew up. IMO MGW should be a target but if we are looking to make one midfield signing, I wonder if he should be our no. 1 target.
