Tik Tok looting event Oxford street. Coming to a town near you?

Jails are full, limitations have been placed on Magistrates by the Justice secretary- maximum sentence now 6 months Instead of 12.

You have got it mixed up. It was always six months, they changed it in 2022 to maximum of twelve, temporarily to tackle the backlog. However it had a negligible effect and they reversed it twelve months later.

Were I work we have a radio which is linked to lots of local shops for security. It's a small seaside town, these radios are used so shops can inform each other of any trouble.
We have had this radio for about 4 months now, I didnt realise just how shop lifting goes on.

The Police are powerless, under-resourced and even when they actually arrest people the courts (if it even goes that far) just throw out laughable punishments so there's just no fear at all.

I had the odd moment but I never got into any real trouble when I was younger because I knew that any sort of criminal record would ruin your life. It seems like the ferals nowadays don't care about their future and it isn't like their parents are present or do anything, my dad would of battered me.

It's no wonder that kids are facing record mental health, anxiety and those kind of problems. They're being set unrealistic expectations of the world because of social media. When their life doesn't match-up then is it any surprise that they turn to stupidity such as this?

I don't think humans were meant to have this level of connection and access to everything and everyone around the world, it's making our brains melt.
