Time added on

It’s happened for years and years.

There are lots of things to call out referees on. This seems the pettiest of the petty though.
It is, but it is something that he’s brought on himself.
For years and years there hasn’t been as much emphasis on injury time as there is this season.
But that’s about all the interest I can muster so I’ll move on and not give it a second thought.

As long as Taylor doesn’t read the 12 peoples’ indignation in here, I doubt he will be aware of any criticism about the time added on.

Time added on is totally at the discretion of the on field referee.

Ut wouldn’t surprise me if both managers were asked, by the fourth official, if they were happy to end bang on 90 mins.
You're just making any old stuff up to try and justify your argument. With regards to Var and referees you go out of your way to be contrary.
Your first paragraph is just a lie but I'm not going to bother replying in this thread anymore, it's pointless.

A fair cop if true. Someone else quoted that before and I trusted it was correct.

A dead game is one called dead by the ref and probably both managers.

If a team is 4 goals up, I think the vast majority of football fans would agree that the game was dead at 90 mins.
This game was dead at 75.

Your mind reading skills need work.

I’ll refrain from telling you how you are thinking.

Recent events in Nottingham prompted me to revisit the question of how much time Liverpool get added on. The answer is that over 17 matches since the beginning of November* a total of 146 additional minutes has been played at an average of 8.6 minutes per game.

When they are winning, that average decreases to 7.4 minutes each game.

When they are losing or drawing a game after 90 minutes, the average amount of additional time played is 9 minutes.

By contrast, when we are winning an average of 7.36 minutes is added, which is not a million miles from Liverpool, but when we need a goal we get (on average) 6.25 minutes to their 9.

Different people will draw different conclusions. There might be all sorts of reasons why that happens, but the figures do appear to indicate a trend.
