Did I mention I'd been on Eggheads?
Another 4 horses ''destroyed'' yesterday, three at the Cheltenham, one at Sedgefield - how can this be justified?

Will punters not go / bet on these races if they are just straight races without the jumps?
Next month is Aintree so put your money on a couple of more horses dying for profit.

Difficult one, and you'll find two camps. People who are arsed theyve lost about £40 at the festival this week, and people arsed that four horses have died.

I love horse racing, but I also love horses, so its a difficult one.

It's not as black and white as people on the outside may think, there is too much tradition and history in horse racing to ban it.

I can see them reducing the maximum field size and height of fences though.

Mmm, tough one this.
I'm in the "it shouldn't be allowed" camp and had the discussion with a work colleague who put up a very convincing and good argument on why it should
But perhaps if we shot the jockey as well as the horse

ban it, how can you justify a horses life by fucking betting?

Out of interest.....what are the trainers/jockeys/stable staff/tipsters/media columnists/presenters and the thousands and thousands of other people employed because of horse racing supposed to do for a job?
