If you look at the amount of interest generated by "minor scuffles" any paparazzi photographer can sell his pics for a lot of money. The owners must be displeased with this. Even if we have to erect an independent privacy screen within our boundary imo it should be done as a matter of urgency.
In what way is it damaging the club? I've heard two pundits already come out since this broke yesterday and say "this sort of thing happens every week at a club somewhere around the country, it's only because it's City that it has become big news!". Is it stopping us progressing up the league? Is it going to stop us signing Dzeko or anyone else who comes? Is it going to stop the developments in and around the stadium and further around the Manchester area that we have all seen in the Vegas thread?
As i've said, i welcome anyone to slag us off because when we become a real team and a proper top club what can they say about us then? Plus any bad press we get may keep away the unwanted bandwagon jumpers and leave us with SUPPORTERS of the club, not people who are here because they've seen the "City dream" pasted all over the newspapers!
If you own a product you dont want it continually receiving negative criticism. In the worst case scenario the owners may have second thoughts about continuing to invest! Is that damaging enough for you?
