Time to get the cheque book or say good bye to the league

Thiago Silva, Pedro, Van Persie,Hoillett and Henley (the left back from blackburn), Sneijder and De Rossi, send Edin of on loan along with AK and Johnson.

Yeah, we should sign all of those, send out those guys on loan and boom, we win the league. It's true because I did it on Football Manager.

Be thankful with what you've got and what will come instead of fantasising about Blackburn players.

So you are saying that we now have a squad that will win the league and ultimatly the champions league and we don't need any further signings this season?
and why did you feel the need to lie about what I have written?

I suspect we'll make signings in the summer.

We're out of the Champs league so no signings now will change that.

I didn't 'lie', I 'exaggerated', there's a difference.

Henley has played 6 games by the way, presuming you've seen them all in their entirety, it's still a little premature to suggest we sign him and I'll bet you've not seen him play more than 2 full games anyway.

-- Thu Jan 12, 2012 1:56 am --

I hope a rival fan didnt see your original post and believe its a popular view amongst blues Voomer because it was embarrassing.

Then again if a rival fan did think that it would by default make him an idiot also so I guess all is well.

I was browsing rag issue a while back at a mates, he's a rag, and this post was actually highlighted on there and duly had the piss ripped out of it.

I think there will be no signings in January, unless Tevez gets sold
However I think that Mancini should consider some loans to increase squad depth.
Spurs have like 10 midfielders currently and Redknapp hardly makes some changes in starting 11, so Mancini should maybe capture the likes of Kranjcar or Piennar. I always liked Kranjcar. He is a gentleman on the field with nice vision, technique and pass. His fitness is a problem though.
And there is Marquez, a former Barca man. I dont know how good was he at Chicago last season but he is a good, experienced player. He could fill in the defensive gap in the team. MLS teams do evidently do not have anything against loaning their players during the break in their league.

I agree with most of what you said funnily enough, but what exactly makes you believe that 'Arry would loan us one of his players when they are currently 3 pts behind us and in the form of their lives? Would you loan anyone even close to the first 11 to the Rags or Spurs or Chelsea, at this point, or in fact ever?
