Time to move on

It's over, we move on. Let's get on with winning the premier league and a thumping win at west ham.let uefa have their hollow victory, let the racists think all is ok, the sad c**ts have to wake up tomorrow as themselves.we are city, super city, from Maine Road. Nothing will shake or dilute our support for our fantastic club.

Don't like how much negativity we are giving this episode.

Onwards and upwards city. We don't want to lose focus on the title we really want.

Well said. I, for one, am totally disillusioned with UEFA and Champions League. I do believe that our owners will find a way to outwit them but at the moment it seems everything related to Europe is stacked against us. So, Come On City - lets win the League - thats the title I want anyway

Agreed on both counts

Sod all this messing around with 2 in midfield. I don't think we are being adventurous enough and we should move to a midfield 1.
So

Zabba---- Komps -----MDM------- Kolarov
------------------------Yaya--------------------------
--Nasri--Jovetic--Dzeko---Aguero---Silva--

There, that should be entertaining.

The tactics worked fine until the ref fucked us.

not sure i like the tactic of continually giving the ball away

I particulary enjoyed the hollywood 35 yard cross field balls to our attacking opponents. They were great.

Looks like there are still quite a few on this thread, who can't move on and love to dwell on the past.
We cannot change anything. Let it go, you'll feel so much better/free.

So lets all just gloss over yet another immensely dissapointing night in the Champions League and "move on" (in other words just conveniently forget about it).
OK.

Whilst having sympathy with the lets move on and forget about Europe view, in reality we can't do it now and unfortunately won't ever be able to do it.
However hard we try we ain't going to attract the players we want if we ain't trying to be a success in the Champs League.
After watching Chelsea win it on penalties three years ago, I will always believe that as a fan, I want us to prioritise winning the Premiership every year because the best team in England wins that. The best team in Europe doesn't always win the Champs League.
It may suit us in some ways to put two fingers up to Mr Platini and Co but we all know that's a short term gesture.
The only way our fortunes will change is to do better and whilst agreeing that the draws have been a joke, the players still have to stand up and do better.
