Time to move on

What hollow victory did UEFA achieve by a poor draw against CSKA?

We were to blame, not UEFA.

I hope he means "let's forget about a disappointing result the other night and look forward to the rest of the CL campaign". If he means that he thinks we're out then he is as faint hearted as the guy who looked forward to the Everton away game last year with the prediction that they would "arsehole us" because they had managed a 3-3 draw with Liverpool earlier in the season . The CL group stage is very much alive!

This. We are still in it. When I said we move on i mean just that, we go again Saturday at west ham. There is nothing we can do about what happened Tuesday night so we can't let it linger and derail our premises campaign. We need to forget all the negativity and get back to our best.
We'll start again with the cl when CSKA turn up at ours, till then we have work to do here in our bread and butter league.

Yes you are correct as long as we can eliminate the collective failures.

Individual poor performances are the norm but mass melt downs like CSKA second half and Stoke at home are extremely worrying, any more of those and we will not be winning anything this season!

First things first....we have to beat CSKA at home and have Roma get beaten in München. After that, it is ALL about beating Roma at their place. If we all feel like that is too hard, then we really do need to fold the tent. If not, let's get it on and get behind the lads!

Roma has 4pts and we will give them 3 more for CSKA at home. After that, it has to be 0 pts from their Bayern and City games, for total of 7pts.

We should be at 5pts after the CSKA home game, so REGARDLESS of whether we get anything from the Bayern home game, it ALL comes down to beating Roma at their place.

Now, if we can beat Bayern, we are at 8 pts going into the Roma game and only need a point. Pinch me if that is the case! If we don't go through then, we simply do not deserve it!

We would only need to beat Roma if they manage to win in Moscow which I'd say is far from certain. Otherwise a draw is good enough (assuming we beat CSKA, Bayern beat Roma and we get at least a point against Bayern).
