Time to scrap international football

thats because their domestic league is shite.

True ! although following Brazil has got to be far more appealing than England regardless where you're from.

I've no problem with internationals, just the 2 week break, there's got to be another way around it.

The only other option would be to have them all over the Summer, so you have international football every Summer, qualifying alternating with tournaments. The standard would be better too because teams have more time together.

You'd compress the domestic season, and have a winter break, so there's a proper rest and time for pre-season again too.

Don't know whether the scheduling would be possible, can't be arsed checking.

You'd also have problems with the fact that some leagues run over Summer, Summer here is Winter in other places, whether they can play football then i don't know, but you wouldn't want your South Americans or Africans or whoever to piss off for the whole of December abd January to play play their qualifying during their Summer time.

Probably wouldn't be possible.
