Liverpool win tomorrow they're 8 points ahead. January '19 we played them, they were 7 ahead, a win would send them 10 clear, but we turned it on, beat them 2-1, reeled it back to 4 points, and went nearly flawless to the end, to snatch the title....up against a much better Liverpool team than this one.

I’m a new fan in the US and when I joined this forum I assumed it would be a love fest all the time. Well, it’s not. That said, I appreciate that many of you all have a financial commitment to this team that I never will and so I understand the frustration. And the criticism on this board has made me a more intelligent “fan” (at least in the US). But I often wonder what it was like in the lean years when there weren’t any trophies - I assume you all still found a lot of things to celebrate and there was a great sense of camaraderie in that. Even if it was just a good pass or a nice shot, I’m sure it could be celebrated like a win. Anyway, I totally sound like a mother (I am) when I say this, but sometimes I just want us to find the good. So I am glad for you all who do that!
