The team need to show some bollocks because at the moment a few out there are taking the piss. They have to be, how else do top class players who've won everything put in a horror show like that? They're not even doing the basics these days. Tracking runners, passing well, pressing, winning the ball. The defending is schoolboy level at best.
Us fans will be there as we always are, we've seen worse, but by fuck we had a team far below the levels of this squad back then. They now need to stop feeling sorry for themselves and sweat blood for that shirt.

Agree on all that ...but I'm not giving up til after Anfield. They are beatable. And we are good enough. With the right players back, expectations low, the team hurting, we can definitely do it.
If we lose it's over, if we draw it's probably over....but if we win.
 
I’m a new fan in the US and when I joined this forum I assumed it would be a love fest all the time. Well, it’s not. That said, I appreciate that many of you all have a financial commitment to this team that I never will and so I understand the frustration. And the criticism on this board has made me a more intelligent “fan” (at least in the US). But I often wonder what it was like in the lean years when there weren’t any trophies - I assume you all still found a lot of things to celebrate and there was a great sense of camaraderie in that. Even if it was just a good pass or a nice shot, I’m sure it could be celebrated like a win. Anyway, I totally sound like a mother (I am) when I say this, but sometimes I just want us to find the good. So I am glad for you all who do that!

And that's exactly what is happening. Half arsed.
That was the worse effort I have seen from a city team in the last 10 years at least.
But I can't say that or I get accused of being a united fan or a glory hunter.
Fucking snowflakes can't take criticism.
