I'd give that award to David Silva personally.

Marvin said:He wasn't on the ball as much as Nasri and Silva, but when he was he hit the crossbar, scored and almost scored with his last kick. He makes things happen.

Adam!" and then gave him a thumbs up? I liked that. It showed how much Bobby appreciates johnson taking aboard his advice and improving as a player. Every time I see johnson play, he is only getting better.
Disagree. He didn't get much of the ball, but when he got it he was very good.WNRH said:Marvin said:He wasn't on the ball as much as Nasri and Silva, but when he was he hit the crossbar, scored and almost scored with his last kick. He makes things happen.
No doubt about that but when he isn't making things happen he needs to do more. Last night was a typical Johnson game. Shit opposition, fancy shot, fancy goal and 95% of the game doing nothing.
Needs a run of games but in them games needs to do more. His goalscoring record is incredible, 6 in 13.
Nelly's Left Foot said:I am sure as a winger he is told not to just go at the full back everytime but to assess whether it's the "right" time and if not just pass and keep the ball moving. No point in just going for it if he is double marked as we are about keeping the ball rather than taking chances which are more likely to fail.
Seems to me it's working and he is getting better. Last night he got stuck on the left and I thought even more isolated than usual.Maybe just Mancini having a look to see how it worked but I reckon,as I think AJ does, that he is more effective from the right.
