time wasting

Don't believe in City doing it as I tend to believe it will come back to bite us on the arse with a goal in added on time. A karma thing which only applies to City.

What I don't get is, why is it o.k to take your time with a throw in, free kick, goal kick etc. all throughout the game, but it's not o.k to do it near the end of a game when one of the teams have decided they want to speed it up? Oh yeah, defenders shielding the ball out of play should be penalized for obstruction, and short corners should be banned, ALL players should have to be a set distance away, not just the opposition.

Whats worse for me is the blatant time wasting that is not added on at the end.
When we lost to that goal by Owen, 7 mins into 4 minutes of injury time, the football world creamed itself with trying to explain the rules, 30 secs per sub, per goals, time wasting etc but i find when we play and teams waste time against us and use all subs etc we rarely get over 3 mins added on.
We've even had the very same referee abandon his one-off, made up rules since that farce at the swamp. Why didn't we get another 30 seconds to score folowing Sunderlands goal celebration? We got 2 seconds, despite the Old Trafford game apparently informing us that time was added on due to goal celebrations in stoppage time.

Bent.
