Wow- recorded just before Tina's version but never released - world dodged an 80's bullet here

 
Brilliant performer, and a true superstar.

She could "strut her stuff" with the best of em and still looked great well into later years.

R.I.P. Tina.

An absolute force of nature of a performer and never gave less than 100%. Definitely up there with Aretha for me in terms of raw tallent.
 
What sad news to hear, an incredible female singer who belted out some great songs.........RIP Tina Turner.........simply the best
 
Her revival in the early 80s was particularly big in Australia as she starred in the third Mad Max film and she was used a lot in promotion of our rugby league competition.

I seem to recall her being referred to as a rock and roll grandma when she was only in her early forties.
 
From R&B with the abusive Ike via escape to Rock, Tina conquered the world. A wonderfully powerful voice and a great stage presence, she set the tone for a whole generation of women and inspired them all.
Unique.
RIP.
 
Outstanding artist over several decades and some of the finest legs in existence.

RIP Tina and thank you.
 
Yes, she was the true Queen of rock and roll and ' Simply The Best '. So many great anthems that will remembered by us all. RIP.
