Me too. Never been a fan and never will be(In fact I hate Simply the best-Rag song)but she always came across as a nice genuine lady. Got a shock when I found out she was 83 and also didn't realise she was born in Switzerland. RIP.
 
I know she did promo campaigns for the ARL but I had no idea she was so integral in its promotional campaigns



 
I forgot what a great performer she was and, what a fantastic song private dancer is. Not sure how old she was in this clip but what a performance!
 
I still watch this and i get it - double your TV audience by appealing to female fans in a way cricket with its "come on Aussie come on, come on" campaign at the same time but by the heck in a country like Australia making that move with what in hind sight is such a homo-erotic video is wild - I can see why some of the administrators were worried right up until the night before the campaign was launched
