We should keep tabs on this kid as he could well be an interesting option to replace Walker in the near future(in 2 or 3 more years).

Incredible RB.

I long tipped him to make it with England despite the talent ahead of him.
It's good to see his horror injury hasn't set him back too much.

Problem with signing him is he's at Newcastle who I'm sure know what they have and have no reason to sell.

I really liked him at Southampton and thought that injury might have fucked him, but fair play he was excellent against Legohead’s jobbers tonight
Wouldn’t be the first time Chelsea have let the wrong player go…

I was a big fan of his at southampton, he was quality against us going both ways and said at the time chelsea were mad to let him go. that injury was a bad one, the type that many dont recover properly from. Early days but looks like he's one of the lucky ones and newcastle having taken a punt will benefit greatly for it. No chance we can nab him from them anytime soon, he's the perfect age to take over from trippier within the next few seasons.

What was this lad’s injury can’t recall anything about it ..

Think he did his ACL twice for Southampton. He's a cracking young player but I wouldn't have risked the fee Newcastle were willing to pay for him. He'll be an England regular if he can stay fit though, the other young fullback they got from Chelsea is a quality little player aswell.
