Tino Livramento

Figure this was always the case and wasn’t going to get done until August if we were serious about him. Curious what their asking price is because with the transfers we’ve made already and the expected outgoings, we could afford to splurge especially on a position we definitely need. Newcastle haven’t explicitly said he isn’t for sale which is a little promising.

Every player has their price. I do wonder if we're negotiating cheaper deals for the three that are almost done because we plan on paying a decent chunk for this lad
You always try to get the best deal you can whether you got another guy waiting in the wings. No sense in spending extra money on player A even if you have it.

He’s the clubs first choice for the RB spot as I said previously. They see him as the perfect fit.

However just like Bruno, the club knew it wouldn’t be easy. However they are relatively confident they can get the deal done.

Newcastle are demanding in excess of 70 million.

On a positive, he is very open to the move.

If Livramento is interested in us he'll tell his agent to spread the word to agitate a move. If Newcastle reluctantly agree then it'll be hard work negotiating any kind of bargain with Hugo Scrooge at the helm.

If, and i mean if they do come to the table we'll have to pay their asking price because they don't need or want to sell him.

We paid 90 for Gvardiol a few years ago. I think 70 is a pretty fair number.

I don’t really have an issue paying the asking price for a player of his quality and homegrown status. If we pay 110M combined for Livramento and Ait Nouri, that’s good business for me. That’s also without considering Grealish and/or McAtee possibly going the other way.

How do we know it's in excess of 70m and excess what's that 5/10/15/20m in excess of 70m!? At moment there has been no concrete number out there

Wonder what that fee Newcastle won't budge on? Funny we don't know
Gotta be around £80 mil you’d think.

Most disappointingly it appears they aren’t interested in grealish. Was really hoping he’d be used to lower the fee
