At least this makes it sound like there actually is an asking price for him and they aren't adamant not to lose him.

Every player has their price. I do wonder if we're negotiating cheaper deals for the three that are almost done because we plan on paying a decent chunk for this lad

You always try to get the best deal you can whether you got another guy waiting in the wings. No sense in spending extra money on player A even if you have it.Every player has their price. He’s the clubs first choice for the RB spot as I said previously. They see him as the perfect fit.
However just like Bruno, the club knew it wouldn’t be easy. However they are relatively confident they can get the deal done.

If Livramento is interested in us he'll tell his agent to spread the word to agitate a move. I don’t really have an issue paying the asking price for a player of his quality and homegrown status. If we pay 110M combined for Livramento and Ait Nouri, that’s good business for me. That’s also without considering Grealish and/or McAtee possibly going the other way.If Livramento is interested in us he'll tell his agent to spread the word to agitate a move. How do we know it's in excess of 70m and excess what's that 5/10/15/20m in excess of 70m!? At moment there has been no concrete number out there

We’ve saved money on the Wirtz deal so if we were prepared to do £50m just get the £70m put down asap!
