I hear this all the time but I never think it makes any logical sense whatsoever. If anything they will sell abroad. They won't sell to their direct rivals. Same with Isak and liverpool
Club still holds the cards who they decide sell to. Kane being prime example. Newcastle aren't going to sell their best assests to a direct domestic rival.I hear this all the time but I never think it makes any logical sense whatsoever.
You can't tell a player that he can't play in his home country. Also, if the club who want to buy him don't buy him they'll just buy another and strengthen themselves anyway.

I do know that Rasmus Birtles is a scum centre forward. And a jolly fine one too.Yeah, but apparently "many" of them said that livramento is a peps fullback. Why, why would anyone say that. Would you say rodri is a klopps defensive midfielder? Kdb is such a fergusons midfielder? It's just so pretentious. Put out your point, thats fair, no need to bring in imaginary friends into it.
What if they have spotted a full back with a higher ceiling than Livramento who they feel may suit their system better?Livramento was much more known when he was 19 than Walker. The only thing that dropped his hype was the ACL injury.
Regardless Newcastle won’t sell. They have too much ambition for that.
„ what if“ that’s where it endsWhat if they have spotted a full back with a higher ceiling than Livramento who they feel may suit their system better?
Yeah, he's not worth that sort of money to anyone but us. There's also the possibility that Newcastle would sell if they still have plenty of overseas slots available in their squad. We need Livramento because he's homegrown. But if they can get 80 million for him and spend 50 million on an overseas fullback that's actually better (which we can't do), then they might go for that. And upgrade and 30 million in the bank is not to be sniffed at.Also most clubs abroad are skint. No one will pay them as much for Livramento as we will.
Newcastle know they won't be challenging Liverpool for the title. Yes, they had a great season last season.Club still holds the cards who they decide sell to. Kane being prime example. Newcastle aren't going to sell their best assests to a direct domestic rival.

Or more likely because he is a gormless twat.Newcastle know they won't be challenging Liverpool for the title. Yes, they had a great season last season.
But when an offer around the 100 million pound mark comes in for one of your players serious decisions need to be made.
If Isac wants to go then Newcastle will sell him. Players generally hold all the cards now as we have seen in the past with other players.
Kane stayed cos he wanted to be the blue eyed boy and not stir up a fuss. IMO.
I don't believe this to be the case at all. There are countless examples of clubs selling to their direct rivals. Plenty involving City. the clubs do not hold all the cards at all. The players hold most.Club still holds the cards who they decide sell to. Kane being prime example. Newcastle aren't going to sell their best assests to a direct domestic rival.
The 3 nufc season ticket holders i know all said for anything over £50m they would drive him to Manchester
Wynn Davies.I don't believe this to be the case at all. There are countless examples of clubs selling to their direct rivals. Plenty involving City. the clubs do not hold all the cards at all. The players hold most.
Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, Kyle Walker, Gabreil Jesus, Zinchenko, James Milner etc etc etcWynn Davies.
But again they won't be looking to sell to rival Premier League club. I don't expect us to Sell Haaland to Liverpool, Arsenal or even Newcastle. Same with Rodri,Gvardiol and Dias. Foden too despite his underpar season. They will probably keep him for one more season and then move him on.You say that, but Newcastle will be checking out potential replacements in case Isak asks to go, it's what teams do, just in case.
If they identify one player who will cost a lot, then they may need to receive as much as they can - then he'll end up at the highest bidder, wherever they are.
Their intention is to challenge for the League title.Newcastle know they won't be challenging Liverpool for the title. Yes, they had a great season last season.

The optics of Newcastle selling a full back to City are nowhere near as bad as selling their star player to Liverpool. There’s a very strange mindset amongst City fans regarding transfer business. I’ve seen so many comments saying Newcastle would never sell Livramento because they don’t have to but at the same time being terrified of Liverpool buying Isak.
It’s either Newcastle won’t sell us their star full back as we’re rivals and the same rules apply with Liverpool regarding Isak or Newcastle can’t keep their best players. Not that they’ll fight tooth and nail to keep Livramento but are powerless to stop Isak going to Liverpool.
If Newcastle have PSR issues they are, in my humble opinion, far more likely to sell a full back rather than their striker.
