Tino Livramento

Vanderson is 40mil euros. If we could've paid that Phillips we should do it for someone who'd be the only proper right back in our club.

I think we should absolutely keep Nunes but make him play his actual position - midfield. He'd be a great back-up for Reijnders. But we do need a right back. Livramento is 80mil, Gusto 60mil and Vanderson 40mil. All great options.
What’s Phillips got to do with it? We made a mistake and fucked up with him, what’s that got to do with now?

I trust Nunes in my 11 more than Dias

I'm beginning to suspect you don't think Ruben Dias had a great season.

Also you can't argue a counterpoint as invalid when your presupposition is inherently based on assumption: I never said Nunes was shit.

Maybe it's your fancy pants vocabulary but I don't have a clue what you're on about. I never said you said Nunes was shit; I'm saying Nunes was shit.

He played out of posotion all season out of necessity... he was up and down. A player like Dias played exactly where he was expected to and had a shit season.

I swear to god, if you randomly bring up Ruben Dias one more time I'm going to do a sloppy shit and DM you pics from every possible angle.

Speaking of valid points- Praying and wishing we had new players instead of working with what we have isn't exactly working either is it?

"Speaking of valid points, here's another invalid point."

I'm not arsed where you rated him. He was crap.

The idea that we'd all be begging to sign him if he performed like that in another league is just nonsense.

You know why it's nonsense? Because literally nobody has enquired about him this summer.

There are plenty of better right backs who had better seasons both in England and abroad and they're getting basically no mention on this forum.
You have to realize you'd be basing your general idea on his highlights. And his highlights late in the season were very good.

As a matter of fact, his highlights are always very good. Even 8n games where he makes a terrible mistake (like United) , his overall highlights are always good.

He is a good player who makes mistakes. He is Kyle Walker without the leeway

They haven't enquired because they know can't afford him as he is not for sale because he had a great season!

Ok I am being facetious. But he did have a pretty good bulk of the season once settling in at RB. You are hung up on a couple errors, most of which came when he played in midfield.

Kyle Walker without the leeway?! Jesus Walker was best rb in league for years suggesting Nunes is anything like him is crazy. Not in same league.

I think most have made peace with it, silly money or not the right player.

I think we’ll end up when Pep does his mid season tweaks with a CB there, not sure who, but most likely makes sense as to why we have so many CB’s.

For me Kushanov is the one, purely for pace, but he’s young, likeable and already a fan favourite so maybe we see if different to Pep.

We need pace, Walker was huge for us, so we need someone to provide role which is not easy.

Going forward, Walker had a great energy but was only ok.

A better option should be available with pushing up on the left and potential switch in midfield, pushing one out to the right or a winger, although most who go on the right seem better in the half spaces.

I trust in Pep to get it right, but it is a priority position!
