Tiote is a great player, but I'd prefer Cabaye too. Cabaye's defensive ability is very underrated and he could be the 'deep lying playmaker' we've been crying out for. Both would cost £20m+ though.

Cabaye and Tiote is a fantastic central midfield. You're right about his defensive ability; he had the most tackles last season in the Premier League. Great vision to.

just heard from a friend of a friend. (supposed to be some kind of full time security bloke at MCFC)
the club have expressed an interest in signing Tiote.
a decent enough player but doesn't overwhelm me.

I'm a big fan of tiote but as others have said cabaye would be a much better fit.
