title contending in Jan - £50m spend?

If we are within 6 points of the leaders then it would be madness to not invest in another top line striker - Ade, RSC and Jo all have question marks against them for one reason or another.

Same pair for me as always, Torres or Dzeko.

We don't really need that much but if Adebayor is off we need to go full-on for Dzeko again.

We should have Michael Johnson back by them who himself may be like a new signing if he stays fit. Maybe a young creative attacking midfielder willing to wait his turn (Gai Assulin?).

Course there is, we have limited cover for Carlos, god forbid he gets an injury, we would be fcuked.

I don't think January is ever a good time to spend a lot of money, and I also don't think we'll see large transfer fees spent again in the near future. Stability now is what is required most.

The squads now good enough now to win the title, it just needs to gel together and get fit, and it'll be fine to challenge. We probably won't win it this year, but 2nd or 3rd is quite likely.

A few minor changes next summer but not whole scale changes will put us up there as favourites.
