TNT Sports agree 4 year deal to broadcast the FA Cup from 2025/26

From the FA website:

• Selected matches will be live on TNT Sports and on free-to-air from the first round to the final
• New deal will see more Emirates FA Cup ties broadcast than ever before, with every game from the third round outside of 3pm kick offs to be shown live
• Further details of the free-to-air broadcaster will be confirmed in due course.
• The Emirates FA Cup final will be available on TNT Sports and free-to-air.
• The deal enables The FA to provide valuable investment into grassroots football

I wouldn't watch anything on tnt if they paid me.never mind if it was free.

Wonder what that will mean for coverage over here. (US). Currently FA Cup games are on ESPN+ which is a subscription under Disney. Don't know if that changes.

Not a fan of all the subscriptions I have, but at least ESPN+ airs every single cup match as far as I know. I am hoping nothing changes for us.

Me neither but yes, they do show them all, including the EFL Cup games too. And then Paramount shows all the CL games so at least we know that we will be on regardless.

Shouldn’t have any impact on coverage outside of the UK. Overseas broadcast rights packages are negotiated independently to those for the domestic market.

Because of fed up getting fleeced by SkyTNT subscription services in September 2022 my nephew, who’s tech savvy, hooked my telly onto IPTV via fire stick at £100 per year. I was paying Sky and TNT £160 per month. Get all City games live irrespective if Sky or TNT are covering them. Also get Aberdeen games live (unfortunately!). Basically any game from any league in any sport. These subscription services are fucking everything up. For example, here in Scotland unless you have a Viaplay subscription you can’t watch Scotland games live, which is particularly unfair to elderly fans, though we get England games live on terrestrial TV lol!!

Iptv is the way forward but you might want to look around i'm paying 19 euros ($20.45) for a year.

That’s a great deal.

I do pay an extra fee but that includes Movies.
