I am from the same era and totally agree with what the above gentleman says. I firmly believe that under RM, City will take giant strides forward and the League title is well within our grasp next season. I have never publicly backed Roberto - its not my style - but from deep within me I have always been totally impressed with the way he has carried out his job this season.
He has been under constant pressure - the media, the public in general, the fact that because of the finances he has had to justify the outlay - and finally - from so many people on Bluemoon.
Roberto, I respect you because you are much more than a mere mortal like the rest of us.
Hail the second coming of Joe Mercer, (and Malc of course).

not long ago that everyone had an agenda against city. mancini came in and the press laid in to him like wild rabid dogs. well get to fuck everyone. because big bobby manc is taking us to the champions league with our first trophy under our belts. thankyou, much love.

The last four games were all potential "typical city" games.

Miss out on Champions League, lose FA Cup. Not only did that not happen but we leaped frogged Arsenal.

Mancini has changed the mentality of the players/club.

The only thing puzzling me is the absence of cabalistas tonight.
 
Yes, we have finally shaken off the "typical City" tag and hopefully got rid of the so called "gypsy curse". A new City has arisen from the ashes and from now on it is onwards and upwards - the sky is the limit and I am so please to have been about to witness it.

We can only improve, (I would be happy with)top 2/3 again next season and title the following year, next season too soon imo, that will still be within the owner 5 year plan set out by the ADUG when they took over the club

It's nice for some of you to finally see the manager we have!

Even on his appointment(out of all the supposed listed candidates), I said that this man(after watching career in Italy and the styles his teams played with) would have us playing 'swashbuckling' football.

After a few teething problems, a little confusion in myself about why it wasn't happening, I believe we have been seeing it in fits and starts throughout the season. Little passing moves, gives and goes, that broke down earlier in the season had been getting longer and longer in possession stats as we looked to probe and draw out teams, finally slicing through them at given opportunities. Quite surgical, at times.

And we will only get better.

That's the exciting part!!
