To our Balkan friends on here..

This thread has certainly tickled me up no end. It's like walking into a party and finding out everyone has been talking about you and looking foward to seeing you, and you knew fuck all about it. I certainly hope these newcomers stick with us. They are certainly more entertaining than a proportion of some of our home grown shite.

I don't know how someone can be a Rag and a Blue at the same time, LOL. I can understand a Bosnian rag fan rooting for Dzeko to do the well ona personal level but that would be the limit. Rooting for both is like rooting for Zeljeznicar and Sarajevo (two Bosnian teams in Sarajevo) who are hated rivals and every derby usually ends in injuiries and hospital visits unfortunately.

I'm not a City Fan, I'm more of a sympathizer. Same as I appreciate Barcelona's style and flair, doesn't make me a Barcelona fan. I'm still a United fan, that likes seeing good football, wherever it may come from. And being objective, I think City deserves the title this season based on current performance, and history.

But in 1-2 years time when the young United squad gels, with some additions to the squad, that will be the right time to contend and have some awesome derby's (not that any of the previous one's have been a let down mind you) :)

But all in due time, need to kick some Belarus butt tomorrow first :P

I'm still a long way from being a true City fan, but I can see it happen maybe even beyond Dzeko :-).. if you retain this beautiful style that we're starting to see this year.

But it's no sucking up if I say that what bought me, apart from our player, are you guys. Singing the whole time, supporting each and every player unreservedly, even after some obvious bashing (hint Tevez), just because they're playing for your club.

I loved the sentence from someone here.. something along the lines that since you don't have a history full of trophies, you can at least cheer your heart out and give players something they wouldn't want to let down. Respect :-)

The funny thing is, you have to take into account that a sizable chunk of those hits from the US, Germany, Canada, Australia, etc., are Bosnians from abroad - such as myself.

We really are one of the most football crazy peoples in the world.

i really think city should have a pre season in the balkans next year! it would be top!

read the whole thread and everyone is beautifull apart from the rag who keeps going on with himself!

keep it up balkans we re going to win to win the league this year...enjoy!!

By following Dzeko's career to Man City, I've learned a lot about the history and the most intriguing thing is that despite very recent success, you guys play with a chip on your shoulder, you're underdogs and underappreciated and you have a lot of revenge to impose on the rags. Go City, have no mercy, titles will come and giants will fall.

I was thinking the same thing. This is the reason why Bluemoon forum has serious activities 24hrs a day. I am not sure if even Barcelona's forum has hard core fanatics like us. I keep checking new posts until 1:00 AM.
We are all very excited about the opportunity, there is something to look forward to and dream about it.

Back to the initial topic of this thread, or at lest related to it:

Wouldn't it be a cool song to sing for Aguero, at the melody of the famous five notes from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind"? You know, this one (couldn't find a better video):

Bad idea?
