Whilst this is true in the main, there were plenty of pissed up dickheads who took the defeat very poorly.Blue2112 said:What I find really interesting and what really was a genuine touch of class from us City fans is that from the moment the final whistle went and we lost the FA Cup to Wigan I have yet to hear, see or read a City fan that was bitter and held any animosity or grudge towards Wigan or their fans. We shrugged our shoulders, swallowed the proverbial humble pie and accepted the defeat with grace and dignity. I saw many blues wishing Wigan fans all the best on the way out and even later that night when we met them around London. Considering we went so long without any success it shows our great character that we can smile and not be spoilt by wanting to win everything in sight to make up for those barren years and empathise with how those Wigan supporters felt tasting success at that level for the first time. I kind of feel the same way about Sunderland but obviously hope it doesn't happen but if it does then I am sure they will be afforded the same courteous handshake.
It's going to be another great day with two great historical clubs, no bitterness, no ill feeling great just support for our own clubs and exactly what a cup final should be. Can't wait for it C'MON CITY!

Depends on how you view things.Didsbury Dave said:"A dream come true" is patently hyperbole, but as a third trophy in three years, and the first step towards a domestic double/treble, a win would be very nice thank you.
