It is just like English fans going to Spain and doing the Barcelona stadium tour.

Do you think that barca, Madrid, German teams fans are whining about english fans attending games??
They didn't take a Real Madrid bag to the barca game.

They got out alive :-D

Joking aside change the teams. Now that Atletico are having a good spell I am sure someone, at least one person ! will have gone to Atletico, bought a bag, scarf or even a shirt and then gone to watch Real.
Whether we like it or not we are a global attraction, a tick list on things to do. Years ago I met an American who drove from London to Edinburgh, had a look round and drove back, in a day. Why "Because yeh just gotta see Scotland"
City winning the League twice in 3 years, multi million pound players, great stadium makes us a box to be ticked. Sad but true.

Maybe you should have asked what was he doing with it, I am sick of seeing the half and half shit that's being worn by customers at our ground. If your a City fan you wear something with the clubs colours or crest on it. If you can't make your mind up please take your custom somewhere else.
I don't think it's as simple as that. I bought a half and half scarf for my son when we played Barcelona because it was such a big event for him, seeing players like Messi.

I'd never buy one with another premier league club mind, that's going too far.

is it wrong to confess i did the same ,been going since 1972 but wanted a souvenir of the day the kids got to see the greatest player of his generation, instead of just a programme .
like you the thoughts of buying one with another prem club on is just a big no no .
however if you are a neutral fan and just want a Souvenir of the one visit to gods own i can understand it ,its only the same i suppose as when we used to buy postcards when we went abroad and t shirts i guess
