Go to end of shops where the win a car is. Look right and its around there. Well the stairs and alleys to it are

The area between the centrum and the redlight zone has beer at more reasonable prices, was in one this afternoon, Trinity Bae, next to the little soldier's church, 3.60 a pint

Also try Kam Yin on the top end of Warmoestraat, exellent and cheap Surinam food

Not only the best surinam food in Amsterdam but Chinese as well!
Absolutely delicious and very cheap
